By combining state-of-the-art digital cameras and the latest printing technologies with Israel’s oldest natural resource, Max presents the origins and identity of Jerusalem in uniquely beautiful photographs printed on the very fabric that has built and rebuilt the City over the last three millennia: Jerusalem stone. From small squares to wall-size murals and installations, MAX Photo Art brings Jerusalem to life in your home, office, corporate or residential lobby, or institution, together with all the memories and emotions you may hold for the City herself.

Now everyone can share in the destiny and beauty of Jerusalem, a visionary people, and the reality of a Promised Land that is rebuilding itself. Max Richardson's works of art will bring pleasure and delight as decor pieces and gifts for years to come.

About the Artist:

Max Richardson is American-born photographic artist who has been living in Israel since 1991. He has made Jerusalem’s most revered sites his visual home since 1996. His photographs form the covers and many, if not most, of the images published in books such as The Western Wall Tunnels, Touching the Stones of Our Heritage, City of David, and The Story of Ancient Jerusalem. Prominent Israeli publications, such as the El Al Magazine and The Jerusalem Post, have also featured his work.

Defining his photography as “meditative”, Max excels in producing and exhibiting art integral to architecture and design, creating unique, timeless images of Israel, particularly Jerusalem, printed on authentic Jerusalem stone and on glass.

The Marrache Fine Art Gallery in Jerusalem presented Max’s “photo art on stone” as part of a group show in April 2004. He has also held solo exhibits at YH4 Architects Gallery (Jerusalem, May 2014) and at the Tribeca Synagogue for the Arts (Manhattan, February 2015). Recently, the Baron Hirsch Synagogue in Memphis, Tennessee commissioned the artist to create an installation of large, wall-size panels of his photography on Jerusalem stone.
